STORIES IN SOUND LIVESTREAM PRESENTED BY WINDSYNC
WindSync presents Sergei Prokofiev’s classic “Peter and the Wolf” in this livestreamed performance. Not only will the wind quintet play the beloved music for this favorite story, but they will also act as narrators and characters in this adaptation complete with costumes and choreography.

MUSIC AND TIME: FELDMAN IN THE ANCIENT GALLERIES
Sarah Rothenberg performs Morton Feldman’s last piano work, “Palais de Mari” (1986), in the Menil’s ancient art gallery surrounded by rare objects from the same era as the ruined Mesopotamian palace of 2400 B.C., which inspired Feldman’s composition. The mesmerizing cinematic performance interweaves avantgarde music with ancient artworks and artifacts.
