B OVERALL

In what was so typical of such a disastrous season, the Texans lost another game they had a chance to win to put them out of their 4-12 misery.

A QUARTERBACK

DeshaunWatson threw 365 yards and surpassed Matt Schaub’s franchise record. He had three touchdown passes and a 115.9 rating.

B- RUNNING BACKS

David Johnson carried 14 times for 84 yards, a 6-yard average per carry. He also scored on a 1-yard run to help the comeback.

A RECEIVERS

Brandin Cooks had 11 catches for 161yards and a touchdown. Keke Coutee added six catches for 90 yards. Pharaoh Brown caught a touchdown pass.

B- OFFENSIVE LINE

With three new starters because of injuries, they did a solid job of run blocking but allowed DeshaunWatson to be sacked four times.

F DEFENSIVE LINE

J.J. Watt had two tackles for loss. Charles Omenihu and CarlosWatkins had sacks. They struggled in the running game.

F- LINEBACKERS

The linebackers in a 3-4 are supposed to be the best run defenders, so Derrick Henry’s 250-yard performance reflected poorly on them.

F- SECONDARY

Leaving Keion Crossen in man coverage against A.J. Brown with 18 seconds left, resulting in a 52-yard catch, was just awful all around.

B SPECIAL TEAMS

Bryan Anger punted one time. Ka’imi Fairbairn kicked four field goals, including a clutch 51-yarder. They also executed a gadget play to set up a score.

C+ COACHES

Texans lost by three to the AFC South champions. Another game they could have won but didn’t. At least theymade it interesting.
