WANDA LEE DODDS

1930-2020

Wanda Lee (Sharp) Dodds went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 29, 2020.

Wanda grew up in Port Arthur, Texas and moved to Houston where she met Colonel Robert L Dodds, and they were married at Ellington Air Force base. Wanda was a member of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church where she sewed over 1,400 baby blankets for Ben Taub Hospital and knitted prayer shawls for ill church members.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Brown and son, Bruce Dodds, predeceased by her husband, Bob Dodds and daughter, Jan Kelley.

There will be a time of celebrating Wanda’s life on Thursday evening, January 7th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park Funeral Home- Westheimer, 12800Westheimer Road, 77077. She will be buried at a private ceremony on Friday, January 8th.
