Brady tests positive for COVID-19

Houston-area U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady has tested positive for COVID-19, he tweeted Tuesday night.

“Tonite the Office of House Physician informed me that I’ve tested positive for Covid 19 & am quarantined,” wrote Brady, R-The Woodlands. “As recommended, I received a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine Dec 18 & also recently tested negative for Covid on New Years Day.”

Brady, the ranking GOP member of the House Ways and Means Committee, said he will begin treatment Wednesday and should “be fine.”
