Area parks to get fresh delivery of rainbow trout

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is starting 2021 by stocking waterways in six Harris County Precinct 4 parks with rainbow trout for local fishers.

The state is delivering 7,500 rainbow trout on Jan. 14 and Jan. 15 to Bane Park, Burroughs Park, Dennis Johnston Park, Meyer Park, Pundt Park and Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve to keep the local fishing supply ample during the winter.
