Man charged with murder in driver’s slaying

DALLAS — A 21-yearold man faces a capital murder charge in connection with the death of a driver for a ridehailing service whose body was found Friday in the Oak Cliff neighborhood.

Officers responded about noon Friday after Joshua Miller, 33, was found slain in the 4100 block of Langdon Road.

Police said Miller was a driver who had picked up Joshua Scott nearby. Police said Scott demanded property from Miller during the ride and attacked him, police said.

Scott was booked into the Dallas County jail early Saturday. His bail is set at $2 million.
