PETER W. CRAY

1943-2001

Peter W. Cray of Fulshear TX, passed peacefully on January 8, 2021 at age 77. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Marybeth, son, Matthew Cray (Beth), daughter, Jennifer O’Hagan, sister, Susan Adams (Robert), grandchildren: Ashlyn, Chase, Kendall, Conrad, Caylii and Brittanii and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by his parents Raymond and Paulene Cray and his brother, Raymond D. Cray.

Peter proudly served his country for 13 years in the NJ National Guard. In 1966 Peter graduated from Curry College (BA) and began his 32-year career with Exxon, which in 1986 brought him and his family to Houston TX. After retiring he and his wife moved to Fulshear TX. They shared many adventures, traveling and cruising throughout the world with family and friends.

Peter enjoyed swinging clubs on the golf course, reading at the beach, camping throughout New England, watching sports, dining with friends, projects around the house/yard and fiddling with his treasured Corvette. He will be remembered as a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who always made time for those he loved.

A celebration of life will be planned when family and friends can gather safely. Donations can be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
