E-commerce auto retailer rolls intoWestch­ase

Vroom, an online automobile retailer with offices in New York, Houston and Detroit, leased a new102,492-square-foot office in Westchase Park II at 3600W. Sam Houston Parkway South, the company confirmed. “It will be used to accommodat­e our growing corporate team,” according to a spokespers­on. The company also operates the Texas Direct Auto brand. Westchase Park is owned by Clarion Partners.

First Investors Financial Services, an automobile finance company, renewed a lease for 38,765 square feet at 5757Woodwa­y. Dan Boyles of NAI Partners represente­d the tenant. The building was recently renovated and rebranded by Braun Enterprise­s, which acquired it through its 5757Woodwa­y Realty Ltd. affiliate in 2018.

Regus, a workspace provider, renewed its 18,049-square-foot lease at OneWestcha­se Center, at 10777Westh­eimer. Louann Pereira, Doug Little and Matthew Seliger of Transweste­rn Real Estate Services represente­d the landlord, Nitya Capital. Kevin Saxe and Corbin Janssen of CBRE represente­d the tenant.

Texans Can Academies - Houston Southwest high school relocated to 10914 S. Gessner. The campus consists of two buildings totaling 45,000 square feet and has capacity for about 350 students per half-day session or up to 700 students per day. Building B has been remodeled as the main high school building, while Building A will be renovated for

future use. The school includes 15 classrooms, two computer labs, multiple offices, conference rooms, a cafetoria, kitchen and storage spaces. The building and property were purchased from Ron Roodgari, owner of Spike Sport, in Sept. 2017. Texans Can Academies are a network of 14 dropout prevention and recovery public high schools in Texas.

Woodbaker purchased the Parkway Plaza Apartments, a 145-unit complex at 130 W. Parker Road in the Northline submarket. The property was built in 1970. Chris Siemasko of The Multifamil­y Group represente­d the buyer and the seller, Mike McBroom.

New York-based Merit Hill

Capital purchased the 198,005square-foot Strack Road Storage facility at 4717 Strack Road.Dave Knobler of Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale.

Westway Transport & Dispatch leased an office at 4141 North Freeway. James Sinclair of CMI Brokerage represente­d the landlord, 4141 Calatrava GP.

The Berger Team leased an office at 7333 North Freeway. James Sinclair of CMI Brokerage represente­d the landlord, 7333 Beltline GP.

TT Stone expanded and renewed its lease of 70,238 square feet at Northwest Industrial Park, 5750-5730 Campbell Road. Geoff Perrott and Jeff Venghaus with JLL represente­d the tenant. Boone Smith and Garret Geaccone with Stream Realty Partners represente­d the landlord, DRA Advisors.
