Rockets vs. Lakers

So far: Rockets 3-5, Lakers 8-3. Lately: The Lakers hammered the Rockets 120-102 on Sunday night in the first of consecutive home games for the Rockets against the reigning NBA champs. The Rockets had whipped the Magic by 42 points, eighth-largest victory in franchise history, Friday night at Toyota Center, but that euphoria didn’t last long. The Lakers have won six of their last seven games, with their lone setback in that span a home loss to the Spurs on Thursday.
