Oscar Salinas was called to his heavenly home early Wednesday morning, January 13, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mauro and Paula Salinas, his brothers, Armando and Domingo Salinas; and his beloved children Lonnie Salinas and Cindy Marie Steedman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Evangeline (Angie) Reyna Salinas; daughters Sylvia Salinas Stottlemye­r and husband, Brian; Becky Salinas O’Bannon and husband, Jack; son-in-law John Steedman; grandchild­ren Cory Stottlemye­r and husband, Ben Cromer; Ashley O’Bannon McClain and husband, Bryan; Jacob Steedman and wife, Jordan; Zachary Steedman and wife, Kelsey; great grandchild­ren Judah Steedman, Henry Steedman, and Sophie Marie Steedman. Oscar is also survived by his brothers Ernest Salinas and Rudy Salinas and wife, Stella, and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The chapel service will be held Tuesday, January 19, at 11:00AM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77087. A graveside service will follow at Forest Park East in Webster, Texas.
