Driver sought after man found dead in vehicle

Police are looking for a Ford Mustang driver believed responsible for shooting a man who was found dead in a crashed car in north Harris County.

Authorities found the male victim around 1:15 a.m. in the vehicle beneath the Eastex Freeway underpass along Aldine Bender Road.

Witnesses told Harris County Sheriff's Office investigators that the two motorists were at a stop light when the driver of a red Mustang opened fire and struck the man.

The sports car drove away as the light turned green, while the wounded man careened into the underpass.
