Knife-wielding relative sought in four stabbings

Authorities were searching Tuesday for an “armed and dangerous” man after he allegedly stabbed four family members in Porter.

The stabbings, including a 9-year-old girl, occurred in the 23600 block of East Heritage Oaks Drive. The four were hospitalized in serious condition, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff ’s Office.

The stabbings followed an argument between the assailant, identified by police as Nathan Charles Carlin, 36, and several relatives. The other victims, all women, were ages 23, 38 and 61.
