Remembering those lost to COVID-19
City Hall was lit amber after Mayor Sylvester Turner led a local memorial on Tuesday, honoring those whose lives were lost to COVID-19. Participants remembered all lives lost in Houston, Harris County and Texas to COVID-19. A national remembrance of COVID-19 victims also was held Tuesday by President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris in Washington, D.C.
