New voice in White House

Regarding “President assails white supremacy,” (A8, Jan. 21): The mention of Islamic extremism and terrorism in an American president’s speech, a routine inclusion for the past few years, was replaced by extremism and terrorism by domestic white supremacists. What a change. This is the real American carnage former President Donald Trump has brought upon us in four years. I hope President Joe Biden ends it.
