Man fatally shot outside apartment

A man was fatally shot Saturday outside a northwest Harris County apartment complex when he went to investigate a disturbance, authorities said.

Deputies responding to a shooting reported at about 9 p.m. found the man, whose identity was not released, outside an apartment at the complex at 12655 Crossroads Park Drive suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, said Sgt. Jason Brown of the Harris County Sheriff's Office. He died at the hospital.
