Biden win denier may face ax as TCU trustee

-

WASHINGTON — Faculty at Texas Christian University are considering calling for U.S. Rep. Roger Williams to be removed from the university's board of trustees after the Texas Republican objected to certifying Joe Biden's presidential win.

In a move Williams is deriding as “cancel culture,” the faculty Senate at the university is set to vote Feb. 4 on a resolution calling on the university’s board of trustees to remove him from its membership for “conduct which causes notorious or public scandal or would tend to bring public disrespect, contempt or ridicule to the university.”

Williams, an Austin Republican, said in a Tuesday interview with conservative radio host Mark Davis that it was “the liberal-left tenured professors” trying to punish him.
