Albert Melvin Baker Born August 7, 1942 in Joplin, Missouri. Passed away January 25, 2021 in Houston, Texas. Age 78 Years 5 Months 18 Days

Albert grew up in Carl Junction, MO attending Carl Junction High School graduating in 1960. He went on to attend Southeastern Louisiana University graduating in 1964. While at Southeastern he met the love of his life, Linda Lou Schmidt, with whom he would spend 54 wonderful years. Albert and Linda were married in December of 1964. Albert had three sons, Robert Earl Baker, Brook Abbott Baker and Todd Christopher Baker.

Albert was a man of faith. He was a member of the congregation of Macedonia United Methodist Church in Hockley where he served as treasurer of the church for many years. Albert is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Schmidt Baker. He is survived by his son and daughter-inlaw, Robert & Shawn Baker, son, Brook Baker, son, Todd Baker and grandchildren, Christopher Baker, Emily & Zachary Wilkins and Ethan Baker.
