DOROTHA PERKINS

1927-2021

Dorotha M. Perkins passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Mary Kownatzky, husband Jewel H. “Cy” Perkins, Jr and sisters Ruth Kownatzky and Mary Jo Koehler.

She is survived by her children Michael Perkins and wife, Eileen; Patricia Perkins; Julie Perkins; Marianne Wilson and husband, Joel; her grandchildren, David Perkins, Andy Wilson and Tim Wilson; her sister, Betty Rings.

Dorotha grew up in Findlay Ohio and worked at Marathon Oil after graduating from Findlay High where she met her husband. In the early sixties, she moved with her family to Texas where she worked at Texas Heart Institute in Houston supporting the pediatric cardiology department.

Her love of art, color and travel; her gracious hosting of many elegant meals for family and friends; her forthright nature much like her own mother, Mary; her perseverance and determination will be greatly missed and remembered.
