Alice Rose Shempert 19312021.

Alice Rose Shempert, 89, of Porter, TX passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021, after a long illness at Kingwood Hospital. She was a native of Chadwick, Illinois and a resident of Porter, TX.

She was preceded In death by her brother, LaVerle; her daughter, Rebecca Chandler; and a grandson, James Chandler, Jr. She is survived by her son, Micheal Burkholder and his wife, Pam of Virginia; five grandchildren, Micheal (Whitney), Eric (Amanda) and Kimberly of Virginia; and Tracy and Tony of Texas; Eleven great-grand children and one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Max and Rex, and three sisters, Nancy, Roma and Sandra.

Alice retired from Target in late 2020 as a cashier.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church 22388 Ford Road in Porter, TX.
