COLLEY, Theresa Lang passed away peacefully at her home in Missouri City, Texas on January 23rd. She was born in Franklin, New Jersey on June 13, 1934, she was 86 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband Tom Colley and her daughter Linda Colley. She was a graduate of Franklin, NJ High School and attended Lamar University in Beaumont, TX and St. Thomas University in Houston, TX. Terry was a gifted seamstress and quilter. Aside from her grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren most of all she loved all sports from the Kentucky Derby to baseball, her beloved Astros and Texans (especially JJ Watt). She is survived by her son Robert Colley and his wife Elaine of Dallas, TX, grandchild­ren Bryson (Preston) Dale of Dallas, TX, Berit (DJ) Baker of Marietta, GA and Ross (Timbre) Colley of Austin, TX and great grandchild­ren Charlotte Baker, Olivia Dale, Layne and Hunter Colley. Terry worked as an Assistant to President Father Phillip Postell at Strake Jesuit College Prep in Houston. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Missouri City, TX. She was a member of the “Quails” women’s club in Quail Valley and of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She had many special friends in the Holy Family Church and Strake Jesuit Communitie­s and the social organizati­ons of which she was a member. Because of the Covid Pandemic, Terry’s life will be celebrated first by a private family ceremony. A public “Celebratio­n of Life” mass and reception will be scheduled later this year.
