Bayou Bend virtual tour

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston offers a virtual tour of the house museum, Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens, Ima Hogg’s historic 14-acre estate. The philanthropist gave Bayou Bend and her collection to the MFAH in 1957 and spent the next nine years transforming the house with rooms filled with early American furnishings from particular periods. The tour offers an introduction to each of the themed rooms, which range from the earliest period in Colonial American history to just after the American Civil War.
