Buffalo Hummus

This hummus is a perfect Super Bowl side dish for sneaking some vegetables and beans onto the table.

2 (15-ounce) cans chickpeas,

rinsed and drained

1⁄3 cup water

1⁄4 cup tahini

1⁄4 cup Frank’s RedHot Original

Cayenne Pepper Sauce

1⁄4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoon­s fresh lemon

juice

3 cloves garlic, chopped

1⁄2 teaspoons salt Crackers, pita or vegetables,

to serve Instructio­ns: Combine chickpeas, water, tahini, Frank’s RedHot sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt in a food processor. Cover and process until very smooth.

Pour dip into serving bowl. Cover and chill for 30 minutes before serving with crackers, pita or cut vegetables for dipping.

Makes 24 servings as an appetizer
