K-9s call it a career
Waller County Sheriff Troy Guidry, a former Harris County sheriff ’s deputy, receives a retirement certificate from Capt. Mike Koteras for his K-9 Rico, a 9-year-old dog trained to identify narcotics and track a scent, during a K-9 retirement ceremony Friday at the Harris County Sheriff ’s Office Academy in Humble. The office retired three K9s after several years of service.
