CHARLES KENNEDY KIRKPATRICK

1943-2021

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and brother-in-law, Charles Kennedy Kirkpatrick, 77 yrs. old was received by the angels into eternal peace on January 25, 2021 at his home in Houston.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers. He will be forever loved and missed by his devoted wife of 55 years, Sammie Kirkpatrick; sons, Scott Kirkpatrick (Marty); Jeff Kirkpatrick (Rhonda); Brian Kirkpatrick (Amy); grandchildren Chloe, Cal, Haley and Wesley; sister Carol Quast; sisters-in-law MaryAnn Guarino; Sophie Russo (Charles); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Charlie graduated from Austin High School and immediately went to work providing for his Mother and little brother. He enjoyed spending time with lifelong friends, he was a member of the “Goodfellas”; and he & Sammie were members of St. Michael Catholic Church since 1965. He lived a fulfilling life with his family at the center of his world. He instilled in his boys qualities of care, integrity, respect for others, placing others needs before your own and most of all unconditonal love. As “PawPaw” he took great pride attending events of his children and grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.on Friday, February 12th at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Rd. in Houston. Because of COVID, seating is limited, however, the service will be live streamed on https://youtu.be/qF1DOgNCZ_s

Interment will be private. In lieu of customary remembrance, the family requests donations to the charity of your choice.
