LARRY JAMES TAYLOR

1949-2021

Larry James Taylor of Houston, Texas passed away the morning of February 3, 2021. Larry was born in Houston, Texas to Donald and Lucille Taylor on April 5, 1949. He is survived by his two sons, Austin James Taylor and Ryan Seth Taylor, his sister Sherry Davis, three nieces Laura Taylor Kontomitras, Jill Easley, and Mindy Kearns, two nephews, Michael Anderson Taylor and Jon David Taylor, and three grandchildren Acacia Taylor, Sophia Taylor and Samuel Tice. Larry graduated from Spring Woods High School in 1967. He attended The University of Houston on a football and baseball scholarship where he received a B.S. degree in Journalism. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He will be most remembered as a devoted father, loving brother and uncle and friend to many. A memorial service, followed by a reception, is being held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 14th at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 8601 Chimney Rock Rd., Houston, Texas 77096.
