When the Texans drafted a relatively unknown defensive lineman from Wisconsin in 2011, there were boos in the crowd. But as Texans fans soon learned, Justin James Watt was something special. He bled for his team and his city. No. 99 gave the region a decade defined by old-fashioned football and down-to-earth charity and good works. He was everything right about this franchise and sports and this town and now he is gone, given a chance to chase his Super Bowl dream elsewhere.
