While the frigid wintry weather left millions without power and chilled to the bone, many people still decided to take advantage of the rare snowfall in the Bayou City to have some of the outdoor fun usually reserved for more northern parts of the country. From sliding on makeshift sleds to making impromptu snow angels, area residents were determined not to let the rare opportunity pass them by.
