LEAD WITH THE ACES
ANSWER: Five diamonds is a long way off, as is three notrump. You can hardly expect to run nine tricks facing a weak two. Your hand is excellent in support of hearts, though, with a filler, a source of tricks and lots of top cards to cover partner’s losers. Depending on your partner’s proclivities, you might invite game with an inquiry of two no-trump or go all the way to game in hearts on your own.
