Camaro driver sought after police unit hit

Authorities are searching for the driver of a black Camaro who they said rammed into an Aldine ISD police unit.

The Aldine ISD officer was driving northbound on the 10900 block of West Montgomery, near West Mount Houston Road, around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday when the Camaro pulled up on the officer’s right side, said Constable Alan Rosen Harris County Precinct 1.

The Camaro “intentionally” rammed the police unit into a concrete wall, pushing the car into a backyard, Rosen said. The officer sustained minor injuries. The driver of the Camaro fled.
