UT braces for 3 games next week

The Texas men’s team will play three makeup games next week, the Big 12 announced.

No. 14 Texas (13-6, 7-5 Big 12) will play Iowa State on March 2, at Oklahoma on March 4 and at TCU on March 7. Those conference games were scheduled for earlier in the season but had to be postponed due to COVID-19 protocols (ISU, TCU) and the recent winter storm (OU) that prevented travel out of the state.

Texas is 2-1 this season against ISU, OU and TCU, the sole loss coming by one point to the Sooners.

But Texas will not play a makeup game at No. 2 Baylor. That contest, originally scheduled for Dec. 13, was first postponed due to contact tracing within the Bears’ program but has been canceled.
