Was Snowflake safe or not?

Regarding “Cruz: ‘Nasty’ for someone to leak wife’s texts,” (A10, Feb. 24): Which is it, Sen. Ted Cruz? Was the power already on when you left for your vacation, so it was OK for Snowflake to be left behind? In

which case, why did you have to leave to take care of your family? Or did you leave your dog in your freezing house, having no idea when the power would be restored?

I think the most telling statement about Ted Cruz’s family trip to Cancun came from a young couple standing in freezing weather waiting for help. A TV reporter asked them what they thought about the trip. The young man said, “It doesn’t matter. He has never cared about us.” I wonder if Ted Cruz’s Bible has Matthew 25: 31-46.
