Dorothy Cartwright Carroll was born December 4, 1943 in Center, Texas to Ross Cartwright Sr. and Rosie Lee Cartwright. Dorothy made a peaceful transition on February 14, 2021 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from “Old Central High” of Galveston, Texas in 1962 and attended Texas Southern University. She is survived by her loving children: Derrick Sean Jerry (Swanselyn), Richard Devin Carroll (Mya), Deita Owens (Michael), Natalie Carroll (Mike), Keldra Gaines, grandchildren and a host of family and friends. We celebrate and honor her life on March 6, 2021 at 4:00 PM to Richardson Mortuary Professional Service 3201 Brookfield Drive, Houston, Texas 77045.
