Miami moving on from Van Noy

The Dolphins plan to part ways with linebacker Kyle Van Noy just one year into a four-year, $51 million deal.

Miami will clear nearly $10 million in cap space with the move, which left Van Noy “surprised and disappoint­ed.”

In other news:

• The Minnesota Vikings released two-time Pro Bowl tight end Kyle Rudolph, ending his 10-season run with the team to create a little more than $5 million in salary cap space.

• The New York Jets released defensive end Henry Anderson for $8.2 million in cap savings.

• An attorney for the family of 5-year-old Ariel Young, who was critically injured in a Feb. 4 crash involving former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid, said the girl suffered a brain injury that has left her unable to speak or walk. “We’re going to be advocating for the most serious charges and the most serious sentence that Britt could ever receive,” lawyer Tom Porto told ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
