Texas State student missing since December
Caldwell County Sheriff ’s Office conducted additional searches last weekend for a Texas State student who has been missing for almost three months.
Jason Landry, 21, was last seen Dec. 13 leaving his San Marcos apartment just before 11 p.m. to make the 2½-hour drive to visit his parents in Missouri City.
His phone’s GPS tracker showed he made it to Luling in Caldwell County. Authorities found his car crashed and abandoned with the lights on and keys in the ignition just after midnight Dec. 14.
Investigators have since found Landry’s cellphone, the clothes he left his apartment in, his backpack and wallet.
