Born in San Antonio, TX and graduated from Lanier High School and TWU, Denton. She taught over 33 years in the Houston Independent School District primarily at Crawford Elementary School. Survivors: Husband, John Kin, daughters, Debra Rogers, Lisa Lawrence and Melanie Kin, sons, Jonathan D. Kin, Alan Kin. Two Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren. Surviving sister Mary Wu.
