LYNDA DALE JONES

1941-2021

Lynda Dale (Fields) Jones, 79, of Houston, Texas gained her angel wings on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. She was born on June 2, 1941 to Bertha Mae Blankenship in Shreveport, Louisiana.

She was a dedicated housekeeper for years and worked up until a few weeks before her passing. She enjoyed her scratch off cards, cooking meals for her family, fishing and collecting treasures which included a special collection of salt and pepper shakers. To visit Lynda’s home, you knew she loved tending to her house plants which thrived with her care. Above all else, Lynda was most passionate about her faith and her family.

She is preceded in death by her mom, dad, former husband Arthur Jones, and grandsons Steven and Tre.

Her legacy will live on through her four children Charlynn Fields, Arthur Jones, Danielle Davis and Christopher Jones; her beloved grandchildren Christian Fields, Arthur Jones Jr., Myron Crawford, Brandon Davis, Anaya White, Carrington Fields and great-grandchildren Ariyanna Julian. Bailey Mayeaux, Robin Stewart, Teyana Crawford. She is also survived by godson Brandon Evan and other children Jess, John, Nick and Lee and her second family; Deborah Wright, Jo Jenkins, Wendy Burgower and Patricia Petitt.
