Lately: The Rockets lost the first two of a three-game road trip and have dropped 14 of their past 15 on the road. The Suns’ romp past the Wizards on Saturday was their eighth win in nine games, including a three-point win against the Rockets in Toyota Center. They have a sevengame home winning streak.

SCOUTING THE ROCKETS

The Rockets have allowed 118 or more points in seven of their past eight games, winning the one in which they did not and losing the seven in which they did. … In 12 outings since the Rockets’ 20-game losing streak, they have made 36.9 percent of their 3-pointers, ranking 13th in the NBA in that stretch.
