How long have you lived in your community and what makes it a great place to live?

I have lived in Kress for 10 years after moving here from California. Living in Kress is an amazing experience. Here it is stress-free, and everything is familiar. There are rarely any crimes, making it a very safe environment. It is also a healthy town since there are no big factories around diminishing the air pollution.

What do you hope to do after high school?

After high school I look forward to attend Harvard University to study Translation Studies and Comparative Literatures. Since very young I have experienced my parents suffer not understanding English and I want to help so others from a different tongue don’t have to go through that. Hopefully that way we can all understand.

Why do you think it is important to be a good citizen at school and in your community?

If you abide by the laws and rules, you’ll get farther in life. Mentally you will grow to be more mature. A good citizen is when you do good honorable things even when nobody is watching. At the end of the day being a good citizen should make you proud.
