On June 1, 2021, Robert E. Price went home to be with his Heavenly Father. He is survived by his wife Mahala; son Will and his wife Sadie; Haley Rolince and her husband Mike; brother Bill; grandchild­ren Iris, Virginia and Mikey; many cousins, nephews, nieces and brothers and sisters in Christ.

A fourth generation Houstonian, Bob was born on November 12, 1946 to Louis and Doris Price, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Lamar High School in 1965, Washington and Lee University in 1969, and the University of Houston in 1971 (Law). Bob practiced law in the city for over 45 years. Through the power of Jesus Christ, he used his work as an attorney to comfort the brokenhear­ted and listen to the unheard. All the while pointing people to the one true source of hope, peace and love in Jesus Christ.

Bob was a pillar of strength whose faith in God’s goodness and sovereignt­y shaped the lives of his family and many others. Bob, his wife and children were founding members of Christ Evangelica­l Presbyteri­an Church (CEPC). Bob loved worshippin­g and serving the Lord alongside this body of believers for nearly 3 decades.

A funeral service celebratin­g Bob’s life will be held at Christ Evangelica­l Presbyteri­an Church (8300 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024) on Saturday, June 5 at 11am. A reception at the church will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CEPC.
