Gunmen carjack woman in her own driveway

Authorities are searching for two attackers who pushed a woman to the ground at gunpoint just outside her northwest Harris County residence last week, grabbed her keys and made off with her car.

Last Tuesday, a 22-yearold woman pulled into her driveway on Misty Heath Lane in the Berkshire subdivision, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said. As she was walking to her door, a man ran up behind her and demanded her keys. Video shows the man push the woman down and point a gun at her head while a second suspect between the ages of 13 and 16 stands on the sidewalk.

The attackers hopped into the woman’s car and drove south on Bryngrove Lane in the red 2011 Nissan Sentra, the sheriff ’s office said. The woman tried to follow the attackers, but stopped when one of them fired gunshots into the air.

Minutes after fleeing the subdivision, the driver of the stolen car rearended a vehicle at West Little York and Queenston Boulevard.

The sheriff ’s office released surveillance video Tuesday and implore anyone with information to contact investigators.
