Four-star corner Jordan commits to Longhorns

-

Texas on Wednesday picked up a commitment from Denton Ryan four-star defensive back Austin Jordan.

The 6-foot, 190-pound cornerback listed a final three of Texas, Ohio State and Oklahoma earlier this year before embarking on official visits to each campus. He verbally committed to UT about three weeks after visiting with coaches and current players Austin.

Jordan was a first-team all-district selection as a junior, helping undefeated Ryan claim the Class 5A Division I state title. He has also posted a sub-11-second 100-meter dash and nearly eclipsed 22 seconds in the 200 meters.
