Weaver selects Uptown for new headquarte­rs

Weaver and Tidwell ,anational accounting firm based in Houston, leased 66,000 square feet at Five Post Oak Park, 4400 Post Oak Parkway. The company, which will have signage at the top of the building, will relocate from 43,000 square feet in Weslayan Tower near Greenway Plaza by May 2022. CP Group and Rialto Capital recently acquired the 28-story building, which is 70 percent leased. Weaver will occupy three floors, connected by an interior staircase. The owners plan to modernize the lobby with new coffee and restaurant space.

“We are excited to move Weaver’s headquarte­rs to Five Post Oak Park,” CEO John Mackel said in an announceme­nt. “We selected (the building) because of CP Group’s vision for the property and what is offers to our team members and clients.”

CEG Multifamil­y purchased the 266-unit Ariza College Station Apartments, a developmen­t of Houston-based Cypressbro­ok Co. near Texas A&M University. Brandon Miller and Brad Shaffer with Newmark brokered the transactio­n.

Tiva Technologi­es sold its property at 23540 Coons Road in Tomball and leased it back from the buyer, Hollister Road Partners. The property has a 32,625square-foot metal manufactur­ing space, 5,000 square feet of office space, a tool machine shop and five- and 10-ton cranes. The purchase included approximat­ely two acres of land behind the property for future expansion. Nick Spearman of Belvoir Real Estate Group represente­d the seller.

Sam Patel purchased a hotel on 1.6 acres at 9041 Westheimer. Kyle Fischer of Belvoir Real Estate Group represente­d the seller.

Pelican Builders and financial partner Ranman USA broke ground on the Hawthorne, a 17-story condominiu­m building at 5656 San Felipe. The project team includes Rottet Studio, Kirksey Architectu­re, Ludlow & Associates Constructi­on and Douglas Elliman Developmen­t Marketing. Acres Capital provided constructi­on financing. Eight of the project’s 67 units have been pre-sold, according to Pelican.

Falls Tech renewed its lease for 8,188 square feet at Commerce Park Westchase, at 3698 Westchase Drive. Jordan Raney of JLL represente­d the tenant. William Carpenter and Boone Smith of Stream Realty Partners represente­d the landlord, Link Industrial.

KB Home has begun selling homes in the Spring Creek community east of Interstate 45 off Cypresswoo­d Drive in Spring. KB is the exclusive builder in the community, which is planned for 70 homes.

selected NAI Partners’ landlord services division to manage its 12-building, 1.5 million-squarefoot Houston commercial portfolio. The assignment includes industrial project leasing for 680,000 square feet.

Corrosion Resistant Alloys leased 5,530 square feet of office space at 4424 W. Sam Houston Parkway North. Dan Boyles of NAI Partners represente­d the tenant. Chip Covill and Cameron Covill of Cushman & Wakefield represente­d the landlord, the GC Net Lease.

Leaf Home Enhancemen­ts leased 11,938 square feet at 11004 Bay Commerce Drive. Jason Gibbons and Doc Perrier of Finial Group represente­d the landlord.

Intergroup Associatio­n leased 4,000 square feet at 5151 Mitchellda­le. Angie Pounders of Keen Realty Advisors represente­d the tenant. Justin Harrity represente­d the landlord, Hartman Income REIT.

River City Land Ventures purchased a 46,000-square-foot industrial property at 6614 Gant Road. Travis Land and AJ Williams of NAI Partners represente­d the seller, Ellisor Investment­s. Jeremy Roberts or JAR Real Estate represente­d the buyer.

Saddlebroo­k Ventures purchased a property at 911 Yale St. in the Heights for redevelopm­ent as an office. Ashley Casterlin of Davis Commercial represente­d the buyer. Francis and Diane Haas, the sellers, were represente­d by Lisa Rimkus, also of Davis Commercial.
