JAMES W. MCCARTNEY

1929-2021

James W. McCartney was born in Fort Worth, Texas on the 24th of October 1929, and passed away peacefully in Houston on Saturday, the 18th of September 2021. He was 91 years of age.

Friends are cordially invited to gather with the family and share remembrances of Mr. McCartney during a reception to be held from five o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, the 21st of September, in the grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

A memorial service is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 22nd of September, in the Sanctuary of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 3471 Westheimer Road in Houston, where Dr. Tom Pace, Senior Pastor, is to officiate.

Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception at a venue to be announced during the services.
