Ollie’s opens closeout store in northwest Houston

Party City leased 8,563 square feet at8612 Garth Road in Baytown Plaza II. Nick Ramsey and Kevin Sims of NewQuest Properties represente­d the landlord, AREP Baytown Plaza II Partners LP. Traci Holman of Baker Katz represente­d the tenant.

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet,

a national chain of closeout stores with more than 415 locations, opened in Steeplecha­se Center, at 10701 Jones Road in northwest Houston, in a former Target store. Ollie’s sells books, flooring, food, housewares, toys, electronic­s, health and beauty products, pet supplies, hardware and more. The new store, the 21st in Texas, is expected to create 50 to 60 jobs.

Dave’s Hot Chicken

leased a 2,802-square-foot space at 148 El Dorado Blvd. in Eastfield at Baybrook, a developmen­t of Regency Centers and CDC Houston in Webster. Opening is planned in late 2022. Debbie Adams of Edge Realty Partners represente­d the tenant.

Freebird’s World Burrito

leased 2,909 square feet at 3112 W. Lake Houston Parkway in Kingwood. Chris Reyes and Alyx Haraway Pendland of Shop Cos. represente­d the tenant. Jazz Hamilton of CBRE represente­d the landlord.

The Tutoring Club of The Heights leased a 2,914-square-foot building at 1703 Yale. Melissa Forrest of TB Advisors represente­d the tenant. Ashley Casterlin of Davis Commercial represente­d the landlord.

Pushin Watts, a boutique cycling apparel and accessorie­s shop, leased 1,050 square feet at Grand Lakes Shopping Center, 5552 S. Peek Road in Katy. Nick Lovitt of KM Realty represente­d the landlord. Opening is planned in October.

Pet Supplies Plus has leased 6,031 square feet in Chambers Town Center, at Interstate 10 and Texas 146 in Baytown, from NewQuest Properties. Austen Baldridge and Bob Conwell of NewQuest Properties represente­d the landlord. Lunden McGill of Baker Katz represente­d the tenant.

Ori'Zaba's Scratch Mexican Grill leased 1,892 square feet in Spring Town Center, at FM 2920 and Kuykendahl in Spring, from NewQuest Properties. opened a location at 1907 W. Gray St. The store is operated by franchise owner Allan Simonds.

Brightway, the Siller Agency is now open at 4008 Vista Road in Pasadena. The insurance agency is operated by brothers Miquel and Ernie Siller.
