Dash down Tigres Femenil

Makame GomeraStev­ens scored a pair of goals to help the Dash defeat Tigres Femenil 5-1 in an internatio­nal friendly Sunday night at BBVA Stadium.

Bri Visalli opened the scoring for the Dash with an unassisted goal 20 minutes into the match against the team from Monterrey and Liga MX. Gomera-Stevens increased the lead four minutes later with another unassisted goal.

Gomera-Stevens added her second goal with 30 minutes left in the match to make it 5-0. Tigers added a goal by Katty Martinez in the 81st minute.

Houston returns to NWSL play on Sept. 26 in the first of consecutiv­e matches at Kansas City.
