Mrs. Frances “Frannie” Krason passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

Fran was born on December 13, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA to her loving parents Albert and Margaret Onda.

After graduating from Catholic High School, Frannie attended nursing school in Pittsburgh where she began her career as an RN. While studying nursing, Fran met her husband Hank and they were married on November 28, 1964. Before the girls entered school, Hank and Fran moved their young family to Westbury, a neighborho­od of Houston Texas where they were proud residents in the same home for over 50 years. After moving to Texas, Fran took a step away from nursing to raise her family. Once the girls were beyond high school Fran returned to her love of taking care of others by becoming the Executive Administra­tor and School Nurse at Tafton Academy. Fran stayed with her Trafton family for almost twenty years when she finally retired. Fran loved crafting, baking and spending time with her family shopping, playing games and enjoying family outings and gatherings.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 56 years Henry Joseph Krason, and is survived by their two daughters, Bridgette Ann Krason Barnes, and Michelle Ann Warneke along with her husband David Edward Warneke. Frannie is also survived by her two grandsons, Zachary

Krason Branes and wife Katherine Ann Barnes and Grant Henry Warneke and his fiancé Kaylea Marie Moro

There are no words to describe the amount of love and passion Fran showed to all around her. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, wonderful mother, doting grandmothe­r and faithful friend.

A visitation will be held Sunday, October 24th from 4 pm until 6 pm CST at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 4525 Bissonnet, in Bellaire.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Fran’s honor on Monday, October 25th at 10:30AM, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft, in Houston. Immediatel­y following, the interment will take place at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.

The family requests a donation in lieu of flowers to the Houston Food Bank as Frannie never wanted anyone to go hungry.
