Judge, Taillon push Yankees’ run to 11

TORONTO — Aaron Judge homered and drove in three runs, Jameson Taillon allowed one run in six innings, and the New York Yankees extended their winning streak to 11 games by beating the Toronto Blue Jays 9-1 on Tuesday night.

Giancarlo Stanton hit a two-run home run in the ninth, his fifth of the season.

Judge’s homer was his ninth, tying teammate Anthony Rizzo for the big-league lead. Judge has 13 RBIs in his past five games after getting a two-run double in New York’s six-run seventh inning.

Mets sweep Braves: Carlos Carrasco dodged trouble for eight innings, Pete Alonso homered against Kyle Wright on an off night for Atlanta’s breakout righthande­r as host New York won 3-0 to complete a doublehead­er sweep.

Alonso had two RBI singles in the opener and New York’s bullpen closed out a five-hitter in a 5-4 win.

Dodgers 3, Giants 1: Julio Urias pitched six shutout innings and Chris Taylor had a two-run single as Los Angeles beat visiting San Francisco.

Rays 10, A’s 7: Pinch-hitter Mike Zunino tied the game with a two-run homer in the ninth inning and Yandy Diaz hit a go-ahead double in Tampa Bay’s five-run 10th to lead the Rays to a win at Oakland.

Rangers 6, Phillies 4: Mitch Garver and Jonah Heim homered and Zach Reks had a two-run, tiebreakin­g double as Texas won at Philadelph­ia.

Red Sox 4, Angels 0: Rafael Devers homered, Michael Wacha pitched into the sixth inning and host Boston beat Los Angeles.

Twins 7, Orioles 2: Ryan Jeffers hit a tiebreakin­g, three-run homer in the sixth inning and surging Minnesota won at Baltimore for its fourth straight victory.

Brewers 6, Reds 3: Brandon Woodruff struck out 12 to tie his career high, Willy Adames hit a three-run homer and Milwaukee beat visiting Cincinnati.

Royals 7, Cardinals 1: Bobby Witt Jr. hit his first major league home run as host Kansas City ended a four-game losing streak.

White Sox 3, Cubs 1: Tim Anderson homered, helping the White Sox win at rainy Wrigley Field.

Diamondbac­ks 5, Marlins 4: Christian Walker had a home run and three RBIs in Arizona’s road win.

Nationals 10, Rockies 2: Erick Fedde pitched seven sharp innings, Josh Bell and Juan Soto homered, as Washington won at Denver.
