Astros introduce new foods for the playoffs

Aramark and the Astros have announced new food (and frankenfoo­d) for the postseason at Minute Maid Park, and I can already feel my heart burning.

We got details on each menu item, where you can buy them and how much each costs. Spoiler alert: These are ballpark prices, so adjust your wallets and waistlines accordingl­y.

Fried Pickle Nachos

There are three different variations of these fried pickle nachos: Buffalo chicken, hot sauce, buttermilk ranch and green onion; smoked pork burnt ends, Hot Honey BBQ sauce, buttermilk ranch and green onion; housesmoke­d pastrami, Bock Beer Stone-Ground Mustard aioli and coriander coleslaw.

Both smoked brisket and chicken options are topped with a “5-star cheese sauce,” Breggy Bomb Swamp BBQ Sauce and green onions.
