The Beanie Bubble Apple TV+ ■ Original Film
This fact-based dramedy about one of pop culture’s oddest crazes is a wild ride. Elizabeth Banks, Sarah Snook and Geraldine Viswanathan each portray a woman who played a key role in helping eccentric entrepreneur Ty Warner (a wonderfully odd Zach Galifianakis) develop the company behind Beanie Babies during the internet’s infancy. Bubble bounces between their three points of view to reveal how Warner’s ego and refusal to share the spotlight led to wild inequities for the trio.
Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, the Movie

This first feature film based on the globally beloved Miraculous animated series follows ordinary teenager Marinette (voice of Cristina Vee), whose life in Paris goes superhuman when she becomes Ladybug. Bestowed with magical powers of creation, Ladybug must unite with her opposite, Cat Noir (Bryce Papenbrook), to save Paris as a new villain unleashes chaos upon the city.
Family Law The CW, 7 p.m.
In “Return to Sender,” the lawyers represent a mail-order bride whose husband wants an annulment so he can get her deported.
Tough as Nails CBS, 7 p.m.
In the new episode “Winning’s Not Everything, but Losing Sucks,” Dirty Hands and Savage Crew compete in the final team event when they battle it out in a series of head-tohead matches inspired by the trades.
Shark Week 2023 Continues
Discovery Channel, beginning at 7 p.m.
Three new specials premiere tonight. In Tropic Jaws, Dr. Craig O’Connell and Madison Stewart are on a mission to find great whites that have invaded Indonesia’s warm Bali coast and learn why they left the cold-water environment they normally call home. Deadly Sharks of Paradise finds marine biologist Danni Washington and shark conservationist Paul de Gelder as they join a team that is tracking tiger sharks off a tropical archipelago in Brazil to understand a spike in deadly attacks.
Finally, in The Haunting of Shark Tower, news of a harrowing shark encounter at North Carolina’s Frying Pan Tower sends underwater cinematographer Andy Casagrande and shark expert Kori Burkhardt on a dangerous quest to discover if great whites are moving into the state’s waters.

In “Zen and the Art of Midlife Maintenance,” Lidia (Jennifer Finnigan), Nora (Emma Hunter) and Rhian (Anastasia Phillips) craft a plan involving a local millionaire that might just get them some cash.
Heels
Starz, 9 p.m. ■ Season Premiere
Heels is a story about a close-knit Georgia community and the men and women who chase their dreams. The drama follows a family-owned wrestling league as two brothers and rivals, Jack Spade (Stephen Amell) and Ace Spade (Alexander Ludwig), are at war over their late father’s legacy while working to find their identity and their individual versions of success. In the Season 2 premiere, Ace is left reeling from Jack’s revelation to him in the ring.
