Joshua Redman

Jazz great Joshua Redman was in Houston not all that long ago, having brought his 3x3 Trio here in 2022. For this visit, he leads a quartet filled out by pianist Paul Cornish, bassist Philip Norris and drummer Nazir Ebo. Redman released his debut album 30 years ago and has spent the time since seeking new paths. Last year he released “Where Are We,” his first album with a vocalist. Rising star Gabrielle Cavassa was the featured singer on the album and joins the quartet for this show. When: 8 p.m. today
